Plymouth is a city in, and is the county seat of Marshall County.
In 1926, Plymouth was chosen as the site of the now defunct Montgomery Ward's first retail outlet.
The annual Plymouth Blueberry Festival held each Labor Day, and centered in Plymouth's large Centennial Park, is attended by over 500,000 people, second in size to only the Indianapolis 500 for Indiana weekend events. The Blueberry Festival includes dozens of live musical acts on three stages, a large parade, several running events, bike tour, hot air balloon launch, car show, plenty of food vendors, and, of course, blueberries.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 7.0 square miles, of which 0.14% is water.
