St. Joseph County is a county in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 62,422 at the 2000 census. The county seat is Centreville.
According to the 2000 census, the county has a total area of 521.15 square miles, of which 503.72 square miles (or 96.66%) is land and 17.43 square miles (or 3.34%) is water.
